Advanced Searches

Keyword/phrase Keyword/Phrase Limit your search to items with a specified word or phrase in the citation or abstract. Specify only a word or a contiguous phrase.
Authors Authors Limit your search to a specified author. Specify only a word or a phrase from the author's last name.
Article/Book Title Article Title Limit your search to a word or phrase in an article or book title. Specify only a word or a phrase from the title.
Publication Title Publication Title Limit your search to a word or phrase from the Publication/journal title. Specify only a word or a phrase from the title; e.g.,Environmental Technology, Ground Water, Bioanalytical Chemistry.
Document Type Document Type Limit your search to one of the document types in the dropdown list. Most of the items in the database are peer-reviewed articles.
Year of Publication Year of Publication The earlier year (left) is by default set to the earliest publication year of all of the documents in this database. The later year (right) is set to the current year. You can change either or both if desired.	through

Both of the search options (the Advanced Search form on this page and the Google Advanced Search) search our database of publication metadata. They do not search the full text of the documents.
The Advanced Search (at left) allows a more focused search of specific fields in the database. The Google Advanced Search, on the other hand, provides Google's familiar search experience and should be sufficient for most search scenarios.
The "Quick Search" option, located at the bottom of each page, searches in the Citation field and the Abstract field of the publication metadata.
There is an implied "and" between each search field; e.g., if you search for author Smith and publication title Environmental Technology, the results will be limited to items that match both.
